IFSL Pinnacle Life Cycle Global Equity Income

Introduction to the fund

A core global equity income fund which invests in all types of businesses across the company ‘Life Cycle’. The fund aims to limit exposure to broad generic risks such as style, sector or geography and maximise its exposure to stock picking. The team seeks to exploit a number of different inefficiencies in the market. It targets an income at least 20% higher than its global equity benchmark (MSCI World Net Total Return Index).

Opinion on fund

This team achieved tremendous success when working together previously at Royal London. The Life Cycle process is innovative and unique, and more importantly it has a long track record of working consistently over time. We like this fund’s core nature and careful risk management relative to the benchmark, whilst still maximising the impact from stock picking. We think the partnership is very sensible. The team will be hungry to make this new venture work. This fund is a consideration for anyone looking to invest in a global equity income fund.
