Schroder Recovery – BUY

This fund no longer appears in the Selection due to the change of management, but it maintains a Buy rating.

Introduction to the fund

Veteran manager Nick Kirrage has departed Schroders after more than 20 years, leaving behind a strong legacy in shaping the firm’s value approach and a record of excellent long-term performance. Simon Adler, a long-standing member of the team, has been appointed head of value equities, while Tom Grady and other experienced managers continue to support the UK and global portfolios. The team remains well-structured and resourced, despite Kirrage’s departure, which, combined with the fact that the robust investment process will be unchanged, gives us the confidence to maintain the fund’s Buy rating.
